WELCOME FROM THE PRESIDENT Hello,
Welcome to the Gift Planning Group of Northeastern New York and our new Web site. Please take a few minutes to learn more about us here. Then be sure to join us at our next program to learn even more and to meet area GPGNNY members.
GPGNNY is one of more than 100 councils nationwide affiliated with the Partnership For Philanthropic Planning located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our members come from various but distinct backgrounds representing either their charitable fundraisers or those professionals who work as donor advisors: attorneys, financial planners, insurance representatives, trust officers, accountants, and brokers.
Our focus is the donor and his or her charitable gift planning. Therefore, our programs serve to educate and inform all of those involved in the charitable gift planning process with the goal of, as our tagline states, "Nurturing the Gift and the Giver."
This Web site contains a number of links and resources. However, if you prefer to speak to someone to discuss any information, I invite and encourage you to contact me or one of our board members.
Planned giving is a wonderful way to help donors achieve their philanthropic objectives. I hope you take advantage of all that GPGNNY has to offer, and to offer your ideas and suggestions and perhaps involvement to enhance our organization.
